Petitioner Richard Henderson said the change from DP to D6 is intended to convert commercial acreage that has not developed in 15 years into residential use. Henderson said the proposal had been reviewed by the Franklin Township Civic League and that the petitioner inserted commitments addressing civic concerns.
Staff indicated that, with those commitments in place, they had no further comments and supported the recommendation. The hearing examiner recommended approval of 2025 ZON 002 subject to the two commitments; the matter will be considered by the Metropolitan Development Commission on April 2.
