Committee approves boundary reconfiguration for Northern Aggregates property near Willits

The Mendocino County Subdivision Committee on March 13 approved Boundary Line Adjustment B2025-006, a request by Northern Aggregates, represented in the agenda by agent Ron Franz, to reconfigure boundaries between two lots near Willits.
Planner Russ Ford said the adjustment would reduce Lot 1 to about 480 acres and increase Lot 2 to about 81 acres; Lot 1 contains the Harris quarry but would not be affected by the boundary change. The project was described by staff as categorically exempt under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The property is located about four miles south of Willits on the west side of U.S. 101 at its intersection with Blackbarr Drive, listed at 16100 North Highway 1 in Willits.
No representative appeared at the hearing for the application. Environmental Health and DOT registered no comments. The committee voted to approve the adjustment with standard conditions; Marlena Doodley moved the motion and committee members voted unanimously in favor.
