At the CRA meeting, a commissioner said the images in the staff backup appeared to show only painted bike lanes rather than protected bike lanes and asked whether the study would move away from protected facilities. A staff member, identified in the record as Jason, replied, "I think those are just illustrative. The focus of this is going to be on the landscaping, the lighting and signage. We didn't mean to indicate that we're going to be moving away from protected bike lanes at all." The staff member said the city would convey the commissioner's concern to the consultants.
A resident, Dennis Conklin, also questioned why a nearby street (Northwest 50 Seventh Street) shown in materials lay outside the CRA boundary and sought clarification. No further changes were requested.
