Sussex County commissioners approve agenda, pull two resolutions and move into executive session

Sussex County commissioners on March 12, 2025 approved the meeting agenda, voted to pull two resolutions for separate consideration and moved into an executive session to address legal updates and potential litigation.

Earlier roll call showed Deputy Director Space, Director Carney, Commissioner DeGroot, Commissioner Hayden and Commissioner Henderson present.

The board did not finalize substantive items in open session that evening; instead, it moved to executive session to receive legal updates and address potential litigation, saying those matters "will likely require action before the evening ends."
