The ATXM commission canceled its meeting at 4:30:10 after officials determined there was not a quorum, and a staff member said items 2 through 10 on the agenda will be forwarded to the council without a recommendation.
A staff member told attendees, “We do not have quorum. We do need to cancel this meeting due to lack of quorum.” The staff member also said the session was not official and was not being recorded.
The staff member said the items that had been scheduled for the commission will “move forward to the council meeting,” and added that they are “mostly scheduled for March 27 [and] April 10,” as stated in the meeting record. The staff member apologized to those who had attended and said the next commission meeting is scheduled for April 16.
Because the commission lacked a quorum, it did not take any formal votes or issue recommendations on the agenda items. The staff member said the items will proceed to the council without a recommendation from the commission.
