Cathedral City staff outline 2023–24 General Plan progress; council to accept report on consent agenda

Associate Planner Dom Camps presented Cathedral City’s 2023–24 General Plan Annual Progress Report at a council study session and told the council the document will be on the regular-meeting consent agenda for formal acceptance.

"The purpose of this report is to provide transparency to members of the public as well as to the council on progress on implementing the general plan," Camps said, noting the report covers implementation activity for calendar years 2023 and 2024 and is the first annual progress report since the council adopted the Cathedral City General Plan in July 2021.

The presentation summarized a selection of actions and ongoing programs that staff say implement the plan’s 13 elements.
