Committee forwards 3-year extension of off-airport reprographics lease in Burlingame

The Budget and Finance Committee on March 12 forwarded to the full Board a resolution authorizing a third amendment to the Airport’s off-site reprographics lease at 837 Malcolm Road in Burlingame. The amendment would extend the lease through April 30, 2028, with two one-year options to extend, and set the first-year annual rent at $159,000 with 3% annual increases thereafter.
Kathy Weidner of the San Francisco International Airport said the airport has used the off-airport reprographics space since 2009 because large-scale equipment and storage are not currently available on airport property. "Repro graphics provides full service design layout art large format architecture printing mounting and laminating services for the airport as well as various city departments as needed," she said.
The item does not require a Budget and Legislative Analyst report due to fiscal thresholds; the airport noted that prior lease extensions have come to the Board for approval. No public speakers addressed the item.
Supervisor Connie Chan moved to forward the resolution to the full Board with a positive recommendation. The committee recorded a roll-call vote of Dorsey — aye; Engadio — aye; Chan — aye. The motion passed 3-0. The full Board will take up the matter on its March 18 agenda unless otherwise noted.
