The council voted on the following items during the March 11 meeting.
Knights of Columbus: Approved soliciting funds at five city corners for the annual Mentaly Impaired (MI) Drive (motion passed unanimously).
Neighbors United / Walk for the Red: Approved roadside solicitation at five corners for the May event (motion passed unanimously).
UticaPalooza (Sparkle Network / Women's Life): Approved a walk and vendor market at Grant Park on June 14, 2025, and approved placement of event signs on June 7 (motions passed unanimously).
Police & Fire Pension Board Appointment: Council appointed Councilmember Lou Backus to fill the city representative vacancy on the pension board (motion passed unanimously).
Memorial Day Ceremony: Authorized the Memorial Day ceremony at Memorial Park on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at 2 p.m. (motion passed unanimously).
Streets/Parks budget amendments: Council authorized minor FY2024–25 budget amendments to reallocate seasonal employee funds, and to add medical stipends for specific staff (motions passed by roll call; no votes opposed).
Purchase of Neptune meters/transmitters from Auburn: Council approved purchasing six 5/8 Neptune T10 meters and 23 R900 transmitters at a discounted price offered by the City of Auburn to maintain meter inventory (motion passed unanimously).
Other administrative motions such as approving consent agenda items and event sign placement were approved without roll‑call opposition.
