Harrisburg City Council approved a set of routine administrative resolutions and moved two items to committee during the legislative session.
What passed tonight - Resolution 2 of 2025: Council authorized negotiation and execution of a professional services agreement with Boyer & Ritter LLC to perform the city’s annual audit and financial report for the year ending Dec. 31, 2023, and an addendum related to the 2022 audit. Vote: 6–0.
- Resolution 3 of 2025: Council authorized negotiation and execution of a professional services agreement with Halcyon Interpreting Services LLC for sign-language interpreting services. The administration reported 32 interpreter hours used in the prior year at a total cost of $5,744.81 and noted mileage and two-interpreter rules for long meetings. Vote: 6–0.
What was referred or moved to committee - Resolution 4 of 2025: A resolution to apply for and accept $200,000 under Act 101 recycling grant to purchase a new leaf truck was referred to the Budget & Finance Committee.
