Loudoun officials outline workforce response to federal layoffs, promote Small Business Summit

Buddy Reiser, Department of Economic Development staff, told the Finance, Government Operations and Economic Development Committee on March 11 that county economic development teams are tracking potential impacts from federal workforce reductions and expanding services to affected workers and employers.
Reiser said the county is launching the Loudoun Resilience Initiative (LRI), which the Department of Economic Development will use as a one-stop portal to connect residents impacted by federal layoffs to job openings, career coaching, upskilling and free business coaching through the Launch Loudoun program.
