The Utah Valley Road Special Service District unanimously adopted a resolution tentatively approving its 2026 budget and set a public hearing for Dec. 3, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Utah County Administration Building.
The action occurred Oct. 22 during the district’s brief meeting. Speaker 2, the presiding member, read the resolution language and asked for a motion; Speaker 1 moved to adopt and Speaker 2 seconded. The board voted in favor; the presiding member announced, “That passes 3 0.”
The resolution “approving and tentatively adopting the 2026 tentative budget for the general fund and other budgetary funds of the Utah Valley Road Special Service District” also sets the date, time and location for a public hearing to discuss the 2026 calendar-year budget. The hearing was scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at 2 p.m. in the Utah County Administration Building.
Before taking the budget action the board approved the meeting minutes by motion and unanimous voice vote. The presiding member asked whether there was any public comment; none was offered. The board then approved a final motion to adjourn.
No additional discussion or budget details, including line-item amounts or revenue sources, were stated on the record. The tentative-adoption resolution was procedural: it sets the draft budget for public review and a subsequent hearing rather than enacting final appropriations.
