District staff reported 33 retirees for the 2024–25 school year; combined, their years of service totalled 683 years. The superintendent singled out that two retirees had roughly 38 years of service each. The district read the retirees’ names aloud and invited those present to stand for recognition.
Who was recognized: Tenure candidates were introduced from multiple schools including Maple Hill Elementary, Presidential Park, Monhagen Middle School, Twin Towers Middle School and Middletown High School. School leaders named specific teachers and staff during the ceremony; several principals offered remarks about individual nominees’ work with scholars and school programs.
