Jean Carlson of the Solid Waste District told council the district requests $48,521 to pay debris cleanup costs from March storms. Carlson said debris drop-off occurred at the former Roberts Stadium parking lot and at the 4-H fairgrounds and that the district will pick up costs for both the city ($43,160) and the county ($5,360.79).
Council members praised the county highway garage—s assistance during the cleanup and approved the appropriation by voice vote.
