Manteca Development Services names Brad Oneluck director; Vanessa Carrera named interim deputy

At the close of the June 5, 2025, Manteca Planning Commission meeting, Development Services announced that Brad Oneluck has been appointed as the department’s development services director effective this week. The department also announced that Barb Harb is no longer with the city and that Vanessa Carrera will serve in an interim capacity as Deputy of Economic Development.
In staff comments, Development Services encouraged attendance at the Chamber of Commerce Watermelon Festival taking place that weekend and noted that, tentatively, staff has no items for the June 19 and July 3 planning commission meetings and therefore expects to cancel those sessions. A staff member also reminded commissioners about an upcoming City of Manteca night at a Stockton Ports baseball game, noting it would fall on a meeting night that is expected to be canceled.
No formal action was taken on the personnel announcements during the meeting; the notices were delivered as staff updates.
