On financial items, the court authorized payment of bills for May 27, 2025, and separately authorized payment of $89,120 to TR Construction NTRA. Commissioner Wright moved to authorize the $89,120 payment; Commissioner Hardenberg seconded the motion, which the court approved.
Procurement: the court voted to reject bid 2025-10 for two pre-owned Chrysler Pacificas after receiving no bids. The sheriff's office requested the rejection so it could pursue alternate purchases of pre-owned vehicles that meet its needs. Commissioner Arthur moved to reject the bid; Commissioner Marr seconded.
Land use: the court approved the subdivision "Courage Estates," a proposed subdivision of a 19.61-acre tract on the east side of Jameson Road into three lots in Precinct 1. County staff stated the subdivision complies with Grayson County subdivision regulations. Commissioner Marsh moved to approve; Commissioner Arthur seconded.
Executive session: under Texas Government Code section 551.071 the court entered executive session to consult with attorneys regarding pending litigation at 10:07 a.m. and returned at 10:16 a.m. The court stated there was no reportable action on matters discussed in executive session.
