Carrollton residents told the Gallatin Municipal Planning Commission at a work session that the proposed Carrollton Commercial Lot 2 would place critical irrigation equipment and a water meter within the footprint of the planned commercial parcel and create traffic, lighting and stormwater problems for the neighborhood.
Sean Clark, secretary of the Carrollton Homeowners Association, said the irrigation backflow device that feeds the neighborhood “currently sits in that proposed commercial lot along with our water meter,” and asked whether the developer would relocate the devices at its expense or secure an easement so the HOA can continue to service them. Clark said he had already shared photos with staff.
