At the start of the meeting a member moved to accept the documents into the record and approve the April 9 and April 23 minutes; the motion was seconded and was approved unanimously by members present. Staff then publicly thanked Mike Jewell for his service and his perspective from the historical society; Jewell replied he would “be in watching from afar.”
Staff announced a June 2 swearing-in and appreciation event for incoming and outgoing members and noted a draft Historic District chapter (curbside/parking management) had been uploaded to the board resources section on the city intranet as a draft for reference. Staff also pointed board members to a forthcoming National Alliance of Preservation Commissions publication on window preservation and alternative materials; staff said the publication would be added to the NAPC folder in the resources area when available.
No formal actions were required beyond approving the minutes. The board adjourned after staff announcements.
