Weber County staff approve final plat for The Grove at GDC Ranch Phase 2 with conditions

Weber County staff moved to approve the final subdivision plat for The Grove at GDC Ranch Phase 2, a 28‑lot single‑family development, during an administrative review meeting on Aug. 28, 2024. The approval was granted with required subdivision improvement assurances, specifications for the internal pathway, and tree‑planting requirements; the record shows no roll‑call vote during the session.

The Grove at GDC Ranch Phase 2 sits adjacent to Phase 1 and will connect to Plain City Road to the north. Felix, a planning staff member, said the project was rezoned previously from A‑1 to R‑1‑10 and “is designed in conformity with that R‑1‑10 as well as, to generally conform with what was shown on the concept plan for the development agreement.” He told the panel utilities will be provided by the Buena Vista culinary water district, Weber‑Box Elder for secondary water, and the Central Weber Sewer District for sewer service, and that the sewer district had already annexed the property.
