St. Louis Park Public Schools Board of Education on March 11 unanimously approved the district's fiscal year 2026 Achievement and Integration budget in a 6-0 vote during a short special meeting.
The budget, described by district staff as the third year of the board's Achievement and Integration plan, covers International Baccalaureate coordination, teachers who support IB and design programs, integration programming and transportation for field trips. District staff did not state a total dollar amount during the meeting.
Board member Sarah moved to approve the meeting agenda at the start of the session; the motion was seconded and approved 6-0. Later, Board member Virginia moved to approve the FY2026 Achievement and Integration budget; the second was not specified on the record. The motion carried 6-0.
"I don't really have a presentation tonight. I'm just here if you have any questions," Dr. Patrick Duffy, district staff, told the board, saying the plan "hasn't really changed" for year three and listing the program areas the budget supports.
Board members asked no substantive questions during the brief discussion. Chair Cox closed the meeting after the vote and declared the board adjourned at 6:38 p.m.
The meeting opened with an acknowledgement of the Dakota and Ojibwe peoples and a brief procedural agenda before proceeding to the single action item.
