"The foundation will be making quarterly donations in March, June, September, and December," the superintendent read from the correspondence.
The donation amount referenced in the letter in the packet is $1,000 per quarter; the foundation listed several organizations it supports and said the gift is intended for "fun stuff for kids to do," to be administered through student activity accounts. The superintendent said the district plans to have students write thank-you cards to the family and invited the donors to share contact information so the board could include a card.
