The district will maintain six early-release days for professional development (combined with contractual time to yield two hours on those days) and removed an additional PD day previously proposed.
Superintendent Kenworthy noted minor clarifications and commended other districts that have returned to traditional snow days for storm closures. The committee voted 7–0 to adopt the calendar.
Officials said approved calendar changes will be factored into staff schedules and family communications; the calendar will be posted to the district website and used to plan the 2025–26 school year.
