Lincoln County board approves teacher recruitment program, stadium scoreboard and funding memorandum; adds real estate contract extension to consent agenda

The Lincoln County Schools Board of Education approved three action items and a consent agenda addition during its meeting. The board voted to approve the LCS "Teach Return to Inspire" recruitment program, authorize purchase of a new scoreboard for West Lincoln High School, and adopt a memorandum of agreement (MOA) outlining the county school funding model. The board also convened a closed session under North Carolina General Statute 143‑318.11 and returned to open session with no action taken; the board then added a real estate contract extension (item 15‑10) to the consent agenda.

Board members made and seconded each motion on the record and passed each item by voice vote.
