The Planning and Zoning Commission removed item 3 (minutes from a prior meeting) and item 4 from the consent agenda for further review after members noted missing information in the record and an issue with the meeting video recording.
Commissioners said the previous meeting lasted only a few minutes and the minutes packet lacked clear records of who made and seconded motions. A member reported the meeting video did not record, and staff confirmed the recording failed. The commission voted to pull item 3 and item 4 from the consent agenda; the chair said item 3 will be placed on the next meeting’s agenda so commissioners can confirm who moved and seconded the minutes.
Vice Chair Frasier moved to approve the remaining consent agenda with items 3 and 4 withheld; Commissioner Maruska seconded. The commission then voted to approve items 5, 6, 7 and 8 from the consent agenda unanimously by voice vote.
Later in the meeting, a motion was made to move the withheld minutes (item 3) to next month; the motion was made by Vice Chair Frasier and seconded by Commissioner Maruska and passed by voice vote.
