The county judge explained the revised agreement will pay recipients in two disbursements: an initial $1,000 and a second $1,000 upon receipt of the report described in paragraph 3(b), for a total of $2,000 per recipient.
"That that's something that's new to the program," the judge said. The remainder of the agreement uses standard contract language and states a public purpose consistent with the enabling statute.
The contracts and leases committee received the update for review; the judge said the agreement would be presented to the full fiscal court as a contract for approval at a future meeting.
