Lake County staff outline first-quarter supplemental budget moves including fleet, land purchase and coroner costs

Lake County staff on March 11 briefed the Board of County Commissioners on a set of first-quarter supplemental budget adjustments intended to record previously approved items and to correct omissions in the county—s adopted budget.

"So when we when we do supplemental, budget requests, really, they're kind of at this point in the year, it's more like revised appropriations, catching any errors that we had when we adopted the budget with the previous board," Candice Bridal, county staff, told commissioners.

The package described by Bridal includes multiple items staff said must be captured in a supplemental so the county can file accurate reports with the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA).
