The Adams County Board of County Commissioners approved Amendment 3 to the agreement with Trinity Services Group to continue providing inmate food services at the county detention facility. Commander Ian Clouse of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office presented the amendment, explaining that it covers an annual increase in the contract price.
Clouse told the board the increase is $119,051 and brings the amended contract total to $3,425,995.55. He described Trinity Services’ daily operation at the detention facility and said the contractor provides meals that total "no less than 3,000 calories per day" and has managed delivery despite security, equipment and operational challenges.
Commissioners moved and seconded approval; the vote was recorded as yes by all five commissioners.
The board recorded the vote in favor as 5‑0. No additional discussion or conditions were recorded on the contract item.
