Super Neighborhood Alliance elects Philip Solana chair, Leticia Grama vice chair

The Super Neighborhood Alliance elected Philip Solana as chair and Leticia Grama as vice chair and reappointed Amy Dinn as secretary during a regularly scheduled meeting, voting to approve the slate by acclamation after a nominations committee report.

The nominations committee presented a slate that nominated Philip Solana for chair, Leticia Grama for vice chair and retained Amy Dinn as secretary for a two‑year term. Doug (nominations committee chair) asked members to vote to elect the slate; Cheryl seconded the motion and members voted to approve the slate by acclamation. Meeting facilitators counted 24 members voting in favor and one abstention while no opposing votes were recorded.

Some members used the discussion period before the vote to ask questions about candidate responsiveness to outreach. Greg (member) said the alliance has a “fiduciary duty of care” to vet candidates and noted he had attempted to contact the nominees without success. Leticia Grama responded that she had not received the emails in question and invited Greg to share contact details in the meeting chat so she could follow up after the meeting. The chair allowed the discussion but proceeded to the vote after members had no additional comments.

Philip Solana accepted the chair role and said he looks forward to meeting with the newly elected officers to discuss next steps. Leticia Grama, who currently serves as president of the Acres Home Super Neighborhood Council, introduced herself during the meeting and described her background in real estate and community service.

The meeting also approved the minutes from the February meeting with two corrections (a numerical correction to a headcount and correcting an incorrectly transcribed presentation). The minutes approval was moved, seconded and carried; the transcript does not record a separate roll call tally for that vote.
