- Clay County Agricultural Fair Association capital improvement request: The board approved a capital-improvement contribution to offset the Fair Association's rental fees for 2025 for electrical upgrades. Staff described the project as installing eight meter stations (each with two 50-amp outlets and one 20-amp outlet) to support modern RV electrical loads (project estimate $31,500) and an optional split-rail fence ($4,413). Combined total requested: $35,913. The Fair Association's recent rental fees have been about $75,000'$76,000; the association will pay the balance of rental fees beyond the county contribution.
