Fire Department items approved included a service contract with ProAir for maintenance of station cascade compressor systems; authorization to advertise bids for one pickup and four SUVs in the capital improvement program; a testing-and-assessment contract with Public Safety LLC for the department's promotional merit process; a $17,844 Sonitrol contract for security access and alarm monitoring tied to evidence-room upgrades; ongoing maintenance agreements with Tri State Fire for extinguishers, sprinkler and alarm inspection; and the surplus of one damaged swift-water suit that had degraded beyond repair.
