Hickory Grove Phase 4 (FP25‑0018). Mia Hines, senior planner, said the 115‑acre Phase 4 plat in a municipal utility district north of West University Drive does not meet all Denton Development Code criteria as submitted; staff recommended denial but supported a requested extension to June 25. Commissioner McDuff moved to grant the extension and Commissioner McDade seconded; the motion passed.
Hickory Creek Center — Lot 1, Block B (FP25‑0020). Assistant planner Matt Bodine said the roughly 10.5‑acre tract west of Teasley Lane proposed for a self‑storage facility similarly did not meet all criteria and requested a review extension. The commission approved an extension to June 25; the motion was seconded and passed.
Staff indicated the outstanding items for the Hickory Grove plat include minor plat notes and documentation related to gas wells and other technical corrections; Hines said the developer likely could address those items before the extension deadline. For the Hickory Creek Center plat, staff likewise indicated outstanding technical items to be resolved before final action.
