The Dallas City Planning Commission voted June 12 to repeal Specific Use Permit (SUP) 1879, which had allowed a late-hours alcohol beverage establishment (the venue marketed as Milly/Leila's) to operate past midnight on a section of Lower Greenville Avenue.
Staff described the site as a long-standing entertainment use along the corridor but concluded the current late-hours operation is incompatible with the immediate residential property directly behind it because of music-related noise and vibration. "This location for the late hour establishment is incompatible with the adjacent property," staff recommended during the hearing.
