San Gabriel adopts $86.5 million budget for FY 2025-26, approves $2.7 million in CIP funding

The San Gabriel City Council on June 3 adopted the fiscal year 2025-26 operating budget, capital improvement program (CIP) and annual appropriations limit in a 5-0 vote.
Finance Director Kahulokula presented the proposed budget to the council and described the citywide numbers. "Total all city fund expenditure budget is $86.54 million," Kahulokula said. The general fund, which supports core municipal services, accounts for the majority of those expenditures.
