New Castle County committee urges General Assembly to respect county charter; resolution wins near-unanimous backing

After brief remarks and an invitation for cosponsors, Councilman Street offered a forceful dissent, calling the proposal unnecessary and saying he would vote against it. The chair recorded the final count as 12 yes votes and one “hell no.”
