Commission approves 2026 commercial permits; airport manager reports April deposits

At its May 21, 2025 meeting the North Airport Commission approved renewal of the airport’s 2026 commercial business permits and received the airport manager’s monthly financial report for April 2025.

The airport manager reported deposits for April 2025 and itemized receipts from tenant and landing fees. In the presentation the manager said the month’s deposits totaled $45,742.35; the manager later stated the total to the treasurer’s office for the month was $35,742.35. The manager also reported first-quarter 2025 landing fees from Flight Level Aviation of $6,775.20 and $1,350 from Boston Executive (as recorded in the meeting). The commission noted that the Town budget for FY26 had been passed at the town meeting and that the airport has FY26 funds available.

Under new business the airport manager said 11 commercial permit holders had submitted applications, fees and proof of insurance and recommended approving them en masse for FY26. A motion to approve all 2026 commercial permits was made, seconded and approved by voice vote. The manager confirmed that all applications, fees and liability insurance certificates were on file.

The commission approved the 2026 permits by voice vote; no individual roll-call tallies were recorded in the meeting transcript. The airport manager’s report and permit approvals were later followed by the Cape Air presentation and a separate permit action specific to Cape Air.
