County updates on park projects: OVP tennis expansion, Heritage Park work and Dawson Park fields

On Dawson Park, the county said it reviewed three possible approaches for the first phase and that the consensus moved forward a plan adding six fields and parking for the initial phase of construction. County staff said funding for OVP had been set aside in SPLOST and that capital funds are available for Heritage Park; they did not provide total dollar amounts at the town hall.
The county representative said the board will provide additional scheduling details as construction estimates and bids become available.
