A county staff member reported a shortfall of $28,000 to cover fees until the state payment can be secured. “To cover everything that we need to cover for the number of these standing work, will be 28,000,” the staff member said on the record.
A motion was made to provide the funds and was seconded. Meeting participants agreed to advance the money with the expectation the county will be reimbursed once the state payment arrives.
Ending: County officials indicated the amount will be repaid to the county when the state funds arrive and said staff will present supporting documentation as needed.
