Speakers also discussed bridge and creek issues that have worsened flooding in some areas and said larger engineering and permitting work (including potential Corps of Engineers involvement) could be years away. Officials mentioned working with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NCRS) and surveying documented damages for future funding requests.
