Emergency operations planning and safety funding Superintendent Ridgeway said the finalized Emergency Operations Plan is expected to come to the board on April 14. He also said the district expects an additional safety/mental‑health grant allocation (the meeting included an approximate figure of $150,000) and discussed using those funds to finish camera and notification projects and to fund other safety priorities.
Naming committee request A community request to rename the access road by the practice fields and tennis courts after Matt Byrne was presented. Under the district naming policy the first step is formation of a naming committee; board member Mister Estelle volunteered to serve. The administration said the committee will include an administrator, teacher, coach, parent, community member and a board member and will return with a recommendation for the board to review.
Facilities timeline and next steps Staff said graduation preparations and spring activities are underway and that testing and device planning (for student devices in 2025–26) will require further discussion about timing and budgeting. Board members asked for an assessment of building Wi‑Fi performance for the high school at a future meeting.
