Miss Sherrod, the PTO advisory representative, told the board the PTO discussed the superintendent’s proposed budget and the new ParentSquare app during a March 6 meeting. "Feedback from that conversation was also related to security and PII protection due to the recent PowerSchool breach," Sherrod said.
The PTO advisory asked that the rollout be phased and that the district provide clear information about data protections and how student information will be handled.
