Norman Public Schools officials presented plans for employee childcare and expanded early-learning services to open in the fall at the district's Center for Arts and Learning (the CAL), administrators said.
Anne Rosales, director of elementary teaching and learning, told the board the program has two main goals: provide high-quality licensed childcare for district employees and expand early-learning services and pre-K capacity for the community. Rosales said enrollment interest from staff on an initial survey included over 200 employees indicating interest and 99 children in need of care.
