Joint committees identify traffic, school capacity and community-center needs in district review

The committees said traffic and parking complaints persist and noted the Bronx Metro North project is generating tension in parts of the district. Barthel said the district shows an increase in older residents relative to younger ages, which committee members said creates specific service and programming needs.
