The Children and Human Services Committee held a third hearing on House Bill 41, a bill sponsored by Representative Roemer and the committee chair that would authorize public-private partnerships to expand on-site and near-site childcare capacity for businesses and organizations.
Chairwoman White said the committee and staff have received testimony in prior hearings and that written testimony for this session was available on members’ tablets. She encouraged members to consult earlier hearing records and offered staff assistance to pull previous testimony for review.
No one appeared in person to speak on House Bill 41 at this hearing. Chairwoman White said she would contact members individually to determine next steps. The committee did not take a vote during the session.
