Local health coalition invites residents to San Gabriel smoke‑free outdoor event Feb. 22

Lisa Nguyen, project coordinator at the National Asian Pacific American Families Allied for Substance Awareness and Harm Reduction (NAPFAFSA), said the Breathe Easy San Gabriel Coalition will host a "Healthy Beginnings" town hall on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the San Gabriel Library. She said the event will include a panel of experts and an art showcase and asked residents to attend "to make San Gabriel healthier."
A second commenter, Su Hong, identified as a community engagement coordinator, provided remarks in Mandarin. The commission noted the public comment period is limited by the Brown Act and that speakers had three minutes to address items not on the agenda.
