Council swears in five new members to Price City Library Board

Price City officials swore in five new members to the Price City Library Board on Jan. 22: Debbie Marvadecas, Carl Ingwell, Cassidy Hansen, Rachel Turner Johnson and Steve Hardman.
Recorder Jackie Adams administered the oath of office to each member. Newly sworn members offered brief remarks thanking the council and discussing their ties to the library; one said they remembered visiting the library weekly as a child and looked forward to serving. Council members encouraged the new board to bring ideas and “breathe life into” the library as services evolve.
The swearing-in was ceremonial and did not require a council vote at the meeting. Council members noted the board had grown in size and expressed appreciation for the members' willingness to serve.
