Township issues building permits, hears engineer updates on culverts and subdivisions; schedules electronics recycling and ADA review

"He got a permit to put rooftop solar, and after they started to find out the roof won't take it, he's gotta replace the roof. So that's considered repair," Gus said on the record.
Gus reported that JBI submitted a request to extend their review period; the board later accepted an extension to May 8. He also said the township will host an electronics recycling drop-off with Waste Management on May 17 from 10 a.m. to noon; that event was rescheduled after snow affected earlier pickup plans.
Engineer Scott updated the board on multiple drainage and permitting items. He said the Greenberger Road culvert is progressing slowly because of weather and the holidays and that he has not yet received comments from the Department of Environmental Protection on the Myers Town Road culvert initial submission. Scott confirmed the township received a permit for a rolling‑road culvert and that he conducted a stormwater installation inspection for Bone Springs, Lot 52.
Other planning items Scott listed included a sketch plan for the Dillard property on Roseburg Road (applying to PennDOT for driveway access), a stormwater management plan for a single‑family residence submitted by Austin Claybaugh, and a sketch plan from LCBM Corporation for a property at 2551 (address context not specified in transcript).
During public comment a resident asked about American with Disabilities Act upgrades to township facilities. The township reported that James Irving visited with the building code official and that an architect has been scheduled to survey the building and prepare drawings for any needed accessibility renovations.
