The Tuckahoe Zoning Board of Appeals opened a public hearing on a requested side-yard setback variance for an addition at 91 Summit and left the hearing open to the board's next session.
Owner David Fanner told the board he seeks a 3.6-foot setback variance to build a 10-by-16-foot den to improve the home's layout. Fanner said he and his partner have the support of their neighbors, including the adjacent property owner.
The board opened the public hearing during the February 2025 meeting and voted to keep the hearing open until the next session to allow time for any additional submissions or public comment. No public commenters spoke at the meeting.
The application will return to the board at a later date for deliberation and a formal vote, provided there are no major changes to the plans; if changes are needed the applicant was instructed to submit revised plans to the building department.
