The Town of Cheektowaga Planning Board voted to approve minor revisions to Bennington Development’s project at 397 Cleveland Drive after the applicant reported two changes to the previously recommended plan.
Attorney James Baguioli, representing Bennington Development, told the board the applicant added a six-foot board-on-board fence along the residential property line and revised vehicle access so tractor-trailers will not travel on the Woodcliff residential street. “We met with the neighbors and added a 6 foot board on board fence along the entire budding residential property line,” Baguioli said. He told the board the remainder of the project remains the same as earlier approved materials.
Board members asked how the gate would operate; Baguioli said it will be a manual gate with a lock. “We will give them a key,” he said when asked who would have access. A board member moved for approval, another seconded, and the board approved the item by voice vote. The chair said, “All those in favor. Aye. Opposed? Motion carried.”
The changes were presented as concessions to neighbors during follow-up meetings; Baguioli said the neighbors in attendance were satisfied with the revisions. The board did not direct additional conditions beyond those described by Baguioli.
The approval applies to the revised plan for 397 Cleveland Drive as described at the meeting. No new dates for construction or subsequent review were specified during the discussion.
