- Ordinance number 3445‑2024 (decreasing estimated revenues/appropriations in certain capital project funds and increasing appropriations in others to fully fund FY2025 projects) was postponed to the Jan. 15, 2025 regular meeting by unanimous consent. A lay‑down memo requesting postponement was provided to council.
- Resolution (reinstating a player registration fee for the Kenai City League basketball program) was adopted by unanimous consent. Parks and Recreation staff explained the fee structure and said the reinstated player fee ($25 per player) would fund additional games (about 42 more games) and reduce cases of unregistered participants; staff stated the total increase per player would be about $31.25 when accounting for additional costs discussed in the memo.
- The council adopted Resolution number 20 24‑53 (approving extensions and amendments to two memorandums of agreement with the State of Alaska Division of Forestry and Fire Protection). Details of that action and subsequent discussion are covered in a separate article.
- A Certificate of Acceptance Notice for Keys Turn Subdivision was approved (roll call recorded; clerk announced seven yes votes). Details of that discussion are covered in a separate article.
- The council scheduled a joint work session with the G'night Sea and Indian Tribe; council members indicated a preference for Jan. 16, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the Kenai Visitor and Cultural Center, though staff had also proposed Jan. 15 at 3 p.m.
