Austin CDC names Commissioner Ortiz representative to South Central Waterfront Advisory Board

The Austin Community Development Commission on June 10 nominated and voted to appoint Commissioner Ortiz as the commission’s representative to the South Central Waterfront Advisory Board.
Chair Noe Elias nominated Commissioner Ortiz for the appointment; Commissioner Menard seconded the nomination. Commissioner Ortiz accepted the nomination. After commissioners on camera signaled their votes, Chair Elias said, “Congratulations, commissioner Ortiz. You’re a representative for the South Central Waterfront Advisory Board.”
The commission also approved the May 13, 2025, meeting minutes earlier in the meeting. Commissioner Lyric moved to approve the minutes and Commissioner Ortiz seconded the motion.
Both actions were recorded on the meeting agenda as action items and were taken by open voice vote during the June 10 meeting.
