The Cottonwood Heights City Council voted June 3 to approve Resolution 2025-39 authorizing a cost-reimbursement agreement with the Metropolitan Water District of Salt Lake and Sandy, and separately approved the consent calendar including minutes from the May 20 work session and business meeting.
Council member Grant Newell moved to approve Resolution 2025-39; council member Burrell seconded. During a roll-call-style vote the mayor called the result: council members Holton, Hyland, Newell and Burrell voted yes and the mayor also voted yes. The motion carried.
Later in the meeting the council approved the consent calendar, which included the May 20 work session and business meeting minutes as redlined by the city recorder. A council member moved to approve the consent calendar, another council member seconded, and the council adopted the consent calendar by voice vote.
No public testimony on these items was recorded in the June 3 business meeting transcript.
